We were commissioned to design a private interior.
The task was to redesign a kitchen space and to connect it with the living room.
Since the whole space was very minimalistic, we have decided to work with a combination of precious materials: copper, wood and fused glass. Although the fused glass is mainly associated with rich stained glass in the churches, it is our another project that proves that it will also work well in the private apartment. In this case, the glass is installed above the worktop in the kitchen and it is not only a great protection against dirt, but also a perfect decoration. Based on the assumption that even the holder for kitchen paper does not have to be boring, we have used unusual shapes, and covered it with a copper coating.
Wood is the last material we have used: in an arch-finished wardrobe and new cabinet fronts over a kitchen counter top.
The slats give the cabinet a decorative character, and the round mirror visually enlarges the space. To break the monolithic mass of a rather massive wardrobe, we printed the letters with a tonal transition in green. Previously it was quite a ordinary and boring kitchen, after our intervention it took on a unique character. Hand-made accessories and precious materials have been fulfilled in a new kitchen role!
We design and work with passion. Each project is another story. We invite you to cooperation!
